Hilary moved to Kirk Langley from Mickleover in 2005, she is employed by Bowmer & Kirkland Ltd as Finance Director for their Derby based subsidiary companies, having worked for them since 1988 and is also a member of NARWIC (National Association of Women in Construction).

She has a keen interest in wildlife and animal welfare, and to encourage everyone regardless of age or background to enjoy the health and wellbeing benefits that nature offers providing it is also given the respect it deserves. She helped to prepare the Kirk Langley Neighbourhood Plan being inspired to protect the semi-rural village life and community feel of Kirk Langley and our wonderful countryside.

Hilary enjoys walking, cooking and reading, she also plays dominoes for the local pub team and would love to have more time to further explore the UK and abroad.

2020/2021 – Hilary is Vice Chair of Kirk Langley Parish Council, she is also involved with both the Planning and Biodiversity Working Groups.
